What are the tools involved in Lidar Self-Capture

The tools used during Lidar Self-Capture will vary slightly based on the construction type of the building being scanned. 

• Steel Decks with Columns Installed 
• Concrete Decks or Slab-On-Grade/Void before Columns are Installed

The tools used during the Self-Capture process are: 

1. A 54” T-Square

2. A marker that is visible on steel.

3. GCP Stickers

4. A tape measure.

5. A NavVis VLX2, VLX3, or MLX (coming soon) wearable Lidar devices.
