Helpful Links for Drone Self-Capture

The links below help navigate the process of checking airspace restrictions and applying for waivers, if necessary.

• LAANC Apps (iOS) (Android): Search your project’s address to see if there are any airspace restrictions. You can also submit a request for automatic approval in a restricted airspace. These requests will be tied to your 107 license. 

• Aloft (iOS) (Android): Allows for the submission of Further Coordination (FC) requests if the automatic approval was rejected. 

• Certificate of Authorization (COA): If a waiver is required for legal flight in a restricted airspace such as near an Air Force Base or in New York City.
